air pipe to engine

Hello,
I have an issue with my Scrambler Icon, I have too much air going into the engine.
I would like to know if it is normal to have a gap between the engine and the plastic air pipe.
If you can post a picture of yours, it would be great to compare (didn't find any picture of this part online).
